Happy New Year from us to you! The holidays have finally come to a close, and we hope you had a restful holiday with family and friends. There was definitely a lot of food going around, and many people took this time to relax, kick back, and eat that second cookie. But the real question is: are you ready to get back into the swing of things?
If you’re getting back into training (and back in the gym again), starting slow will be key in progressing. Before you jump in with all you got, your body has to catch up! Starting slowly will prevent muscle strain and unnecessary tension. 2019 has a lot of things on the horizon. From races, to competitions, to performances, to setting personal goals, you can easily make this year YOUR year to shine. If you have some objectives you want to accomplish, consider using a planer or journal to keep track of them. Tangible goals are essential!
